Patrick’s Personal Profil:
The human body is the center of my passion, my interest and my fascination. I find nothing that is equal to this prowess of evolution. Starting from the desire to provide well-being to anyone who needs it, since my teenage years I have been looking for ways to provide this well-being through the power of my hands without going through medicines or other invasive means. To be able to reduce pain, correct a problem or provide relaxation by the power of touch alone was my initial motivation for my choice of profession. To be thanked for having reduced a pain by the sole intervention of my hands is the best reward in the world. My desire to help people feel better animates me and is my soul purpose. It is in this perspective that I initiated studies to both deepen my knowledge, and broaden this horizon of proxy welfare. As a result of this, and to complete this chart, I started fitness studies to improve the health of people who may not have pain or problems, by the means to help them have a better quality of life. To treat, correct, improve and perfect the body sees its effects rebound beyond the physical. Indeed, well-being is reflected in moral, self-esteem and self-confidence. A complete approach that makes the subject in better harmony with its surroundings. And for me, this has primordial value!
My path in massage-kinesitherapy began more than 10 years ago. Initially trained in Physiotherapy (outside of Canada), I concentrated on the manual side of massage therapy and physiotherapy. I have specialized in fasciatherapy and mechanical therapy, rehabilitation of vestibular vertigo and certified Fitness trainer and certified fitness therapist.
I was the owner and manager of my own multi-purpose center for 10 years before moving to Montreal. I practiced massage-kinesitherapy and personal training. During this period, my treatments were concentrated on spine and limbs pain; related to poor posture, muscle tensions, headaches, tendonitis and various musculoskeletal injuries of traumatic or chronic origin.
My approach in the session focuses on listening from a quick and concise assessment, targeted relief from the cause of pain and then work in a globalized vision to solve the source of the problem and eliminate the cause.
Dedicated sportsman, I found myself in situations of pain and disability which made me personally develop my empathy and understanding towards the pain of others, hence my sweet and deep approach to relax tensions and tissue adhesion to restore the body’s capacity, space and optimum mobility to self-re-establish for a solid and lasting well-being.
